"’For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the LORD.” Isaiah 55:8
Clearly we can see that God ways are not our ways. Where as we may see ourselves going through an emotional crisis, God does not see it that way. With each hardship we go through, God views it as an opportunity for us to lean on him and grow in our relationship with Him.
Sometimes God puts us through so much turmoil so that we can be reminded that there are some things we cannot fix on our own. He wants us to lean on Him to fix whatever it is that we are going through.
You may be wondering why on Earth God would do this?
If this rationale does not help, then think of this. Most significant people in the Bible went though disappointments before they step into the place that God wanted them to be.
Moses was a murderer and was exiled into he land of Midian for years, before God spoke to him through the burning bush (Exodus Ch. 2-3).
Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers. He was accused falsely of raped and imprisoned for several years; before God’s promised came to pass ( Genesis Ch. 37).
And David, was persecuted by Saul. He was left to run around in the wilderness running from a man who he considered to be his friend ( 1 Samuel Ch. 20).
Even though these men kept the faith, I am sure that at some point and time they felt let down by God.
“O Lord, don’t rebuke me in your anger
or discipline me in your rage!
Your arrows have struck deep,
and your blows are crushing me.”
Psalm 38: 1-2
Never think that you are alone in your suffering or your disappointments with God. The key is not to get so engulfed by your disappointments that you think there is no end to what you are going through. There is an end, and like every great man listed above there, is a magnificent triumph waiting for you at the end of your trail.

Not because it is the politically correct thing to believe, but because it is true.
“For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Psalm 30:5
So weather you have been crying for days, weeks, months, or even years. As long as you are breathing and living to see another day, joy will come in the morning.
